Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing platform that enables customers to control a range of cloud resources and services, including data transformation, data storage, and more. As an administrator you focus on the cloud infrastructure that underpins applications, connecting companies to the cloud, giving them a safe landing zone for their applications and data, and providing tools for migrating workload from on-premise to the cloud.

Onboarding
The first stage of the programme makes sure you’re ready to engage, setting you up for success. You will meet your learning mentor and we’ll get you started with some simple personal skill tasks in a self-study online environment.
Timeline
Technical training typically starts in week 3 of the programme. These sessions include AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals, AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator and AZ-400 Designing and implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions.
Certification
You will obtain 3 certifications: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Administrator and DevOps Engineer.
Employment
After 12 weeks of technical training, we use the last 4 weeks to provide you with an employability toolbox, including a case study to showcase and implement all the skills that you have learned, soft skills for running design workshops and writing design documentation.

AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals
This exam measures your ability to describe the following: cloud concepts; Azure architecture and services; and Azure management and governance.

AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator
This exam measures your ability to accomplish the following technical tasks: manage Azure identities and governance; implement and manage storage; deploy and manage Azure compute resources; implement and manage virtual networking; and monitor and maintain Azure resources.

Azure automation and infrastructure as code
In this course you'll learn how to script Azure resources using CloudShell, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep and Terraform. With these skills you will be able to deploy landing zone and solution infrastructure as code.

AZ-400 Designing and implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
This exam measures your ability to accomplish the following technical tasks: configure processes and communications; design and implement source control; design and implement build and release pipelines; develop a security and compliance plan; and implement an instrumentation strategy.

As an Azure Administrator, you often serve as part of a larger team dedicated to implementing an organisation's cloud infrastructure. You also coordinate with other roles to deliver Azure networking, security, database, application development, and DevOps solutions. After the course, you will be familiar with Operating systems, Networking, Servers and Virtualisation.
In addition, you will have experience with PowerShell, Azure CI, The Azure portal, Azure Resource Manager templates, and Microsoft Entra ID.
