Power Platform is a no code/low code development tool. It allows you to create powerful applications that connect people to data and automated processes. You focus on developing the logic, experience and functionality without having to write code. To become a functional consultant, you will need to be good with people and have a logical mind to understand processes.

Onboarding
The first stage of the programme makes sure you’re set ready to engage, setting you up for success. You will meet your learning mentor and we’ll get you started with some simple personal skill tasks in a self-study online environment.
Timeline
Technical training typically starts in week 3 of the programme. These sessions include Customer Relationship Management Essentials, Enterprise Resource Management Essentials and technical Microsoft courses, including MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals, PL-900 Power Platform Fundamentals and PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant.
Certification
You will obtain 4 certifications: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals and Power Platform Functional Consultant.
Employment
After 12 weeks of technical training, we use the last 4 weeks to provide you with an employability toolbox, including a case study to showcase and implement all the skills that you have learned, soft skills for running design workshops and writing design documentation.

MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
This exam measures your ability to describe cloud concepts; Microsoft 365 apps and services; security, compliance, privacy, and trust in Microsoft 365; and Microsoft 365 pricing, licensing, and support

AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals
This exam measures your ability to describe the following: cloud concepts; Azure architecture and services; and Azure management and governance.

PL-900 Power Platform Fundamentals
This exam measures your ability to describe the business value of Microsoft Power Platform; identify foundational components of Microsoft Power Platform; demonstrate the capabilities of Power BI; demonstrate the capabilities of Power Apps; demonstrate the capabilities of Power Automate; and demonstrate complementary Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant
This exam measures your ability to complete the following tasks: configure Microsoft Dataverse; create apps by using Microsoft Power Apps; create and manage logic and process automation; and manage environments.

How well do you know yourself? We’ll start and end the course with a resilience questionnaire and tips for the workplace, aligned with your personality.

Employability toolbox
The industry needs technical people, and at this level, the industry needs technical people who can capture requirements and put those requirements into a design document. Usually, you will learn this on the job, but as part of our course, we include training sessions on how to run design workshops and how to write design documentation.

You’ll now be ready for (potentially your first) technical interviews. We will make sure that you have a resume that ticks all the boxes for your chosen career path, and coach you on your interview skills too. We will introduce you to great recruiters and employers who are looking for skills like yours.

The details of the case study will be shared with you on the course. You can expect to perform the following tasks:
Perform a discovery exercise
Capture requirements
Configure business solutions by using Microsoft Power Platform tools and components, including the Power Platform Environments, the Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents.
This case study can be presented back to your learning mentor, and you may choose to bring this into the conversation during your interview to showcase your practical experience.

After completion of the course, you will be able to implement designs provided by and in collaboration with a solution architect and the standards, branding, and artefacts established by user experience designers.
In your role, you must interact and effectively communicate with members of a delivery team, stakeholders, and customer teams while championing for their success. For this you will show an understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) practices for Microsoft Power Platform and quality assurance.
With this programme, you will get some level of proficiency in data modelling, user experience design and requirements analysis, which you will finetune in your role.
